This is adapted from The Pioneer Woman's recipe for oatmeal bars. I was short on time and decided instead of cutting my butter into tiny pieces the way she suggested, I would just slice it and put it on the oats in a 'dump' style fashion (if you're not familiar with dump cake..check it out..so yummy and easy!). The result is nothing short of sublime yumminess! Had I thought it through, I would have added about 1/4 cup of walnut 'dust' as well for some added protein. Definitely for the next time! The majority of my ingredients are organic, whether you choose to go this route is strictly a matter of personal choice.

Chewy Choco Cookies

Kalau bosan dengan cookies yang crunchy, bisa coba cookies yang chewy ini. Rasanya legit, dengan selingan choco chips yang manis dan renyah gurih kacang almond.
Bahan:
125 g dark chocolate, cincang
30 g mentega tawar
75 g gula pasir
2 butir telur ayam
100 g chocolate chips
50 g almond iris
Ayak jadi satu:
140 g tepung terigu
? sdt baking powder
? sdt garam
? sdt vanili bubuk
Cara membuat:
Tim cokelat dan mentega hingga leleh.Kocok telur dan gula hingga kental.Masukkan cokelat leleh, aduk hingga rata.Masukkan campuran terigu, aduk hingga rata.Tambahkan chocolate chips dan almond, aduk rata.Taruh tiap 2 sdm adonan kue ke atas loyang datar, bentuk menjadi bundar 10 cm.Panggang dalam oven panas 170 C selama 20 menit.Angkat dan dinginkan.Untuk 10 buah
Catatan:
Kue tidak akan keras tetapi teksturnya chewy seperti cake.
